For many companies, decarbonization requires investments in the tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. At the same time, switching to renewable energy sources and electrifying production processes can increase operating costs. Government subsidies can be critical to a positive investment decision or significantly increase profitability. Depending on the project, investment costs can be supported up to 45% and up to EUR 20 million per project. Support for operating costs may also be available.

In addition to traditional funding programs such as the Federal Energy and Resource Efficiency Fund (EEW) and the Federal Efficient Buildings Fund (BEG), we also support you with so-called competitive funding programs such as the Energy and Resource Efficiency Funding Competition, the 8th Energy Research Program and the Climate Protection Contracts. These funding programs include a competitive component and can be evaluated and ranked based on funding efficiency, degree of innovation and multiplication value.
